A big thanks to Tommy Hilfiger and Macy’s for sponsoring this post. All opinions expressed are my own! #TommyHilfiger
I was born in the 90’s. I lived in them for about a decade, took a little break from them or so it felt, and sometimes now I feel like I’m right back in them. Not literally. But my daily style definitely feels like it’s always a little influenced by Monica, Phoebe, and Rachel. Cue the high-rise jeans and crop tops. Or cue this perfectly 90’s inspired look from Tommy Hilfiger at Macy’s. I’ve partnered with them to show off a couple of cool pieces from the latest Tommy Hilfiger Collection at Macy’s.
They had such good pieces but the first piece that caught my eye was this denim skirt. Denim skirts were a staple in the 90’s and they’re great now. They’re a year-round piece that has the ability to be styled to whichever way fits your personality. Wether your sporty or bohemian, feminine or grunge this piece always works. The color blocking on this one makes it more interesting than your basic denim skirt. The fabrication is also super soft and touchable making it ultra comfy. It definitely be a piece I can grab for again and again for all sorts of events.
I styled this color-blocked mini back to a Hilfiger brand tee that just caught my eye. Wearing logos or brandnames on your shirts, shoes, or whatever you can find is definitely having its moment. I finished off my look with dad shoes to really keep in the 90’s theme. It has a touchy of sporty and a lot of cool. It’s the perfect look for a day of shopping or brunching with friends at a trendy, local spot.
